„Gemini is becoming more than just a standalone chatbot, but an integrated part of Gemini Intelligence that runs across the entire operating system. According to The Next Web, Gemini reads user actions and connects with messages, calendar, maps, and other Google services, suggesting or automatically completing the next step — for example, checking restaurant availability and initiating a reservation. This functionality is implemented directly in the Android 17 environment, rather than in a separate chatbot app.
Tensor G6 and performance improvements
The new Tensor G6 chip, according to Thurrott.com, boasts 50% more TPU compute power and 25% faster wireless charging. Additionally, the Gemini Nano model in place of the device allows for 25% faster web browsing and 15% faster app launch. Google says these features deliver up to 30 hours of battery life across the Pixel 11 lineup.

The Pixel 11 has a 48MP main sensor that collects 56 megapixels more light, along with a 13MP wide-angle and 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens with 30x Super Zoom capability. HiLight – visual AI interaction
One of the standout improvements to the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL is the HiLight feature. It's a strip of LED lights around the camera flash that shows when Gemini is listening, thinking, and responding, and also lets you assign colors to your favorite contacts. The feature allows you to receive visual notifications even when the phone is flipped upside down, as ZDNet points out.
Price and memory limitations
„The Pixel 11 series starts at $899 and the Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, but all models are $100 more expensive than their predecessors, and the 128GB storage option has been removed entirely due to the memory and storage crisis (Thurrott.com, The Next Web). The minimum RAM is 12GB, and storage options start at 256GB.
Competition with Apple iPhone 17 Pro and Siri

However, Google is emphasizing Gemini's advantage over Siri, which ZDNet predicts will be updated with Google AI models a few weeks after the Pixel 11 launches.
